Olivier Giroud's number of shots at AC Milan

Olivier Giroud is one of the most experienced and talented strikers in football history, having played for several top clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Juventus. However, his time at AC Milan was not as successful as he had hoped.

Giroud joined AC Milan on loan from Chelsea in January 2018, with the option to buy him permanently. He made his debut for the club in a 1-0 loss against Sassuolo on February 5th, but struggled to find his feet in Serie A. In total, he only managed to score three goals in 14 appearances for the Rossoneri.

Despite this poor form,Serie A Stadium AC Milan did offer Giroud a permanent contract in July 2019, which would have seen him stay at the club until 2023. However, he rejected the offer and returned to Chelsea on a free transfer after just six months at the San Siro.

It seems that Giroud's struggles at AC Milan were down to a combination of factors. Firstly, the club's style of play did not suit his strengths as a striker, and he struggled to adapt to the Italian game. Secondly, he may have felt pressure to perform well given the high expectations of returning to Serie A after a short stint at Juventus.

Overall, it seems that Giroud's time at AC Milan was a disappointment for both himself and the club. While he did manage to score four goals in his final season at Chelsea, it is likely that he will be remembered more for his brief spell at AC Milan rather than his overall career.
