Liu Yang's Achievements in Shandong Taishan: Setting Records and Making History
Liu Yang is a Chinese astronaut who was born on October 21, 1980, in Beijing, China. She is the first female astronaut from China to travel into space. On September 27, 2016, Liu Yang became the first woman to orbit Earth when she launched aboard Shenzhou IX. She spent 15 days on board the Tianhe core module,Football World Dynamics Station completing two spacewalks and conducting experiments.
In addition to her groundbreaking achievements as an astronaut, Liu Yang has also made significant contributions to education and science communication.
